Analysis and Cost
The following table sets out the prices of the analyses carried out in the laboratory.

Sample preparation
In general, users will take care of the preparation of their own samples. If you request the preparation of the samples by our staff, this service is subject to the availability of technical staff at that time, and you can request it by filling out the corresponding "services request" form (below).

Once the samples are ready for the analyses you have to fill one of these templates (as appropriate) and send it to the laboratory as indicated in the instructions included in the template.

Booking Equipment
The use of equipment intended for preparing samples (accurate scales, freeze-dryer, heat cabinet, exhaust hood and ball mill) must be booked in advance. To do that, please contact the technical staff.
Booking slots will initially be a maximum of three consecutive hours per device.
If you are not going to use the device, the booking must be cancelled 24 hrs. in advance, otherwise penalties of use are incurred.
If you are booking outside working hours (after 18.00, on weekends or holidays), you will need prior authorisation from the direction of the institute in order to access it.
Safety Protocols
The LIE is a laboratory that can be freely used by all station workers who need to. To access it, all that is entailed by the laboratory safety protocol must be followed, and the following documents filled in as required:

Lines of pure gases necessary for isotopic analysis are installed in the laboratory. Some of these gases are toxic and very dangerous, therefore it is important that you get to know their Safety Instruction Sheets (SIS):
